Douglas Lake - 4/14, 4/19, 4/21 and 4/22

I had my ole buddies Bob and Bill out on the 14th on Douglas lake.We caught about 40 bass with most running 1 1-2 to 2 lb.Bill wanted some to take home to his wife so he could prove he was fishing.The last time we fished ,we caught about 175 big white bass,but his wife didn't believe him,because he didn't bring any home.Went out on April 19th. with John Bee and his friend.We caught 30 to 40 bass and 100 to 125 white bass and hybrids.We caught all these fish in the back of one cove.Had Don and Judy Anderson out last week on Douglas.They had a great time and caught a lot of bass.Had 25 on Thursday and 15 on Friday morning, but got run off the lake because of a thunder storm. Cherokee -- Friday April 1st -- Tracy and Christy Sayre and their son Chris

On Friday April 1st I had Tracy and Christy Sayre and their son Chris. We caught 18,With 8 of these being keepers. Had several smallmouths and largemouths. Chris had a couple of really good fish on which broke him off. Overall everybody said they had a great time. Thanks,Larry Porter

Douglas lake with Ronnie Hughes Tuesday , March 29th. We caught 22 bass,should have caught 35. Our best fish were a couple of 5lb.largemouth

March 20th Cherokee with Mr.and Mrs.Jon Christian

Sunday,March 20th, I had Mr.and Mrs.Jon Christian on Cherokee and we had about 18 bass and hybrids. We had several smallmouth with big being 3 1/2 lb. Hybrids were from 3 to 10 lb. Thanks, Larry

We had 40 on friday and 36 on saturday.Had 8 bass 4lb.or better and 25 to 30 hybrids in 8 to 10lb.range. Thanks, Larry

Cherokee lake 02-15-2011

I was out on Cherokee lake yesderday,2-15 and had 15 bass in 4 hrs. Had 1 about 5lb.,1about 4lb.,and 6 that were 2lb.to 3lb.The water temp. was 46 degrees,with mostly cloudy skies,air temp.was 56 degrees and water clear.Caught the fish on the upper end of the lake using a sweet beaver. Douglas Lake - August 3rd

We had Tracy Sayre and his family out and caught over 50 between Joel and Larry's boat. There were six people in the group and everybody caught, so that made the trip.

Most of the fish were caught 8-15 ft using finesse.
Water temp 89 degres
Time 6pm-12pm

Douglas Lake - July 15th Fishing Report

I was out on Douglas lake, Thursday July 15th, with two friends of mine.

We fished a point and small rocky bank about 200 yds. long for about 4hrs. The fish were stacked on this bank. When we quit about midnite we had 58 bass, not counting about 25 we had on and lost.

Just a great nite of fishing.
